Her specialty is in treating musculoskeletal disorders and providing the best post-natal care with Ayurveda.
Ayurveda is a highly individualized practice that is done based on the constitution of the person. The state of health as defined by Ayurveda exists when there is a balance between the mind, body, and soul with an equilibrium of doshas, dhathus, agni and malas. Ayurvedic medicines provide good relief in conditions like Bronchitis, Haemorrhoids, gastritis, Acne, Migraines, Indigestion, Fibroid, and Dermatitis etc.
The experience gained by treating patients to avoid surgery and the relief they have gotten sparkled her interest in musculoskeletal disorders. She strives to help the patient understand the condition as well as the available treatment options. She feels that the best outcome comes from a treatment plan that is mutually agreed upon to reach the specific goal.
Child Care includes a gentle massage with medicated oil followed by a bath and Mother Care includes a soothing massage with warm, medicated oils and then a bath with water steeped in herbs and leaves. This helps the woman to recover from the stress of delivery and also help her cope with the fatigue that comes from caring for her baby. This minimizes the pain after delivery and prevents from getting back pain in the future.
The main motto behind Dr. Ramani’s approach is to help the patient get back to be able to do what they want to do considering the current circumstances and the mental aspect of each person. The key points that I establish from my consultations are to explain the condition of the patient, what work they do and their type of lifestyle etc. Last but not the least I believe the more, they understand paves way for a better recovery.
